Mick Ronson was a lot more than Bowie or Ian Hunter’s sideman. He was a great musician, guitarist, keyboardist, composer, and producer. He was a lot more than a stage man, he was a down to earth guy who was very amiable to everyone. He deserves so much respect just as a person. There really are warm souls behind the cocky “glam” rock scene, the drugs and psychedelia of the 60s and punk movement; there are very real people behind the campy anthems and unmistakable riffs. Please to honor a man never to be replicated in time.
